ManikaManila Tiangge 2012

Hello dear readers! It's been a crazy week. I'm sorry I've neglected my regular blog posting! I usually spend my free time queuing blog posts, but last week I've been busy preparing for ManikaManila's Tiangge. The event was held last Saturday, October 20, at Greenbelt Parkplace in Legazpi Village, Makati City.

My booth named Chocochipmunk. I still have leftovers, which I'll be selling online soon! :D

Tiangge is Filipino for "bazaar", which was exactly what the event was all about. Some of our members (including me!) put up booths and sold both handmade and pre-loved items. There were items that were raffled as well! It was one of the most successful events held by ManikaManila so far. Over a hundred people attended! It was like a mini Dollism! How awesome is that?

Violet, Miette and Blair - my pretty models

This was my first time being an entrepreneur. It was scary but exciting at the same time. I'm just glad my booth was quite a success. Yay money, LOL! I'll probably use the money I earned to open a dolly bank account. *u*

Anyway, click on Continue Reading for the rest of my report!

I named my booth Chocochipmunk, but I didn't have chipmunks in my display haha!

Ryan and I made those necklaces! I love the Woodland ones, but they didn't sell as much as the Feather necklaces, which were sold out!

Closeup view of the Woodland necklaces. I still have several of these. I'll put them up for sale here soon.

The popular Feather necklaces :3

The Ombré scarves I made were a surprise hit! I only have two of these left.

I also sold usamimi in all sizes of dolly heads. I still have a couple, most of which are the yellow ones with flowers.

Some of the pre-loved items I sold.

My twin Demi was my neighbor! She sold the cutest mori-themed hair accessories. *u*

Pretty Elise

Leigh! It's so nice to finally see her in person.

Some of Demi's wares. I bought a lace headband and a pair of sunflower clips from her. ^^

A shot of the event. The venue was quaint, but it suited our needs just fine. LOOK AT ALL THE PEOPLE THOUGH.

Yuki's Den was a popular booth. I got matching Rilakkuma hats for the girls from here!

Lots of cute miniature props were sold at this booth!

ALL THE WANTS IN THE WORLD ;^;

April's booth was also a hit. She sold lots of cute knit hats, among other things.

Riko and Henri modeling April's knit hats. Does the deer hat look familiar? I got Blair's deer hat from April! ;D

Jhulian's booth, 5th Atelier, sold dolly-scale furniture and male MSD clothes.

There was also a Pullip booth!

I spotted a Minifee Vampire Elf Chloe and... A JURI 08!!! *spazzes*

I never thought I'd ever see a Juri 08 in person! She's so adorable!!! TT_TT

Madz' booth, Dear Resin, had hats and clothes for different sized girls.

Mistula's booth! They sold both human and dolly sized band shirts. :D

Say hello to Uno, the very first BJD here in the Philippines. :3

Krishna's Ichigo with the other members of Mistula: Lobo, Manx and Lugosi

Monique's booth, Just A Little Wing. The wings she sold were anything but little!

Monique's girl, Lucy, modeling one of her handmade wings.

The Dollstars booth! Ohai Nix! 8D

The fabulous duo, Diva and Zita.

Huhu sorry for the crappy photo, Rose. The lighting was terrible when I took this. x_x

Bell bby~

Starr, babysitting Quibble and LaToya :'D

DOKILITTLE AND LITTLEROSE

Krishna's booth, The Eternal Summer Shop. She sold lots of girly clothes, but I wasn't able to take a photo when her booth was still full. OTL

I was so busy manning my booth that I missed out on her pretty asymmetrical skirts!

Kachan's booth, with Sabine and Blue

Lala's ever-gorgeous Ninon

Lala's booth, where she sold hair accessories and polymer clay macarons.

Dr. Ricci's restringing booth, Star Sapphire. I think she restrung around 10 dolls that day!

Surgery in progress @w@

Ricci's resin family: Amihan, Raja, Isha and Faolan, with Marien's Lucy.

My models say hi again!

Violet's sporting a new faceup made by yours truly. :3

Blair looking tired. LOL. It was definitely a tiring day, but it was fun!

Miette was still a bundle of energy though!

SUPER MSD GROUP SHOT AT 5TH ATELIER!

WHEEE!

I'VE NEVER SEEN SO MANY IN ONE PLACE. 8D

IT WAS AMAZING.

I MEAN... LOOK!

MUHAHAHAHA!

*coughs* That's it for now! Here's a photo of good friends Violet, Christopher and Blair to wrap it all up. Thanks for viewing! ^o^/

I regret not being able to buy the usamimi on Violet's head. The design is soooo adorable. Although am glad I was able to buy some from you before the event ended!

Also, I praise your photography skills because I know it was a little too dark in the venue! The fact that you were able to capture these photos so clearly amazes me!

ALSO, MSDs REPRESENT! I think this is the first time EVER I've seen so many MSDs in one shot. And with adorable furniture too.

Last of all, thanks for the birthday gift Kass! Violet looks really gorgeous now! ^_^ I plan to make her my wallpaper soon.
