Get the Look: Mixed Fruits (MSD)

It's been too long since I made a Get the Look post. As much as I love doing it, it can get tedious searching for the best matches for our beloved dolls. Anyway, it's back and hopefully better than before! I hope you guys like the new layout. :D

1. Wig: Model KDW-38 from LUTS, $23
2. Denim Coat: Denim Rollup Onepiece from Nine9Style, $39
3. Knit Cardigan: Loose Fit Cardigan from Nine9Style, $29
4. Dress: Floral Dress from Kondoll, $28
5. Black Stockings: NS Panty Stockings from Dollmore, $6
6. Socks: Basic Socks with Red Dots from Dollmore, $2
7. Sneakers: Model KDS-117 from LUTS, $8

It's scorching over here in the Philippines, and it would be crazy to wear something like this around here. Luckily, our dolls don't have pores, so they can get away with this kind of outfit. Maybe it's just me, but even though the coordinate has lots of layers, it looks refreshing because of the cool colors. The palette reminds me of a nice bowl of fresh fruits – perfect for the summer! What do you think? XD

I think I'm gonna get a cavity

I just received the cutest dolly accessory ever last week! LOOK AT IT! IT'S AN ICKLE ICE CREAM HAT! Isn't it the sweetest thing ever? It makes Miette a gajillion times cuter!

The hat was made by my crazy talented friend Madz of Dear Resin. Not only does she knit, she also sews dolly clothing! You can check out her blog to learn more about her work and her dolly escapades. Now go click on the link and commission her!

The ice cream princess commands it!

Flights of Fancy

Blair and Miette may have polar opposite personalities, but whimsy and wonder draw them together.
Fridays are for flights of fancy and make-believe! (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧

How to use the Black & White Adjustement Layer in Photoshop

Hello! It's been a week since I last updated. Sorry about that. To make up for the downtime, here's a quick and easy Photoshop tutorial that you can use to improve your photos! This time, I'm going to teach you how to use the Black & White Adjustment Layer. It's a great way to make your photos more dramatic.

This little girl insisted on being on the blog again LOL

Au Milieu des Fleurs

This is a first: Miette appearing on this blog three times in a row! It's her turn to play with the flowers. This time she's channeling an antique doll vibe. Creepy cute, eh?

Giving Miette a new faceup has made me fall in love with her all over again. It's the exact same feeling I felt when I warmed up to Blair's latest faceup when I redid it last year. Hnnn it's such a nice feeling to be able to bring out your dolls' character out with your own hands.

Miette's 3rd Face Up

Miette's old face up was getting crummy, so I decided to redo it around a week ago. I couldn't be happier with the result! My little rainbow sprite is back!

I decided to not draw on lower lashes (like I accidentally did on Blair) so that she and Blair would match. I think she looks good without them. It actually makes me think of not drawing on lower lashes on future face up commissions. Or maybe I can offer the option not to draw on lower lashes. Hm hm hm... What do you think?
